What I Offer

Practical, body-based tools to improve wellbeing, focus, and resilience in everyday life

No matter how much pain, discomfort, or confusion we carry inside, each day brings a set of tasks to complete and goals to reach. The truth is, within each of us lies the power to rise, to face the day, and to take that next step forward. Life can feel overwhelming—stress can weigh us down, and at times, it may feel like we're walking a tightrope. But even in those moments, we hold the strength to persevere, to heal, and to grow. That strength has always been there—quiet, steady, and ready when we are.

For over 30 years, through my journey across Vietnam and the UK, I’ve dedicated my work to helping people of all ages (7 to 100+) —discover their strength, shift their mindset, and create lasting, positive change from within. True transformation is always possible, no matter where you start.

My passion is finding personalized ways to help you rebuild resilience, release chronic tension, excessive effort, and stress, be authentic and nurture a more compassionate relationship with yourself and the world around you. Each lesson is thoughtfully designed and accessible to all levels, supporting relief from stress, anxiety, depression, negativity, and trauma. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you will always discover something new at your lesson. I offer a wide range of flexible options to suit your needs and availability. Let’s work together to rebuild your resilience, nurture your inner being, and—most importantly—restore your sense of happiness, positivity and aliveness.

Stress. Anxiety. Overwhelm. Sadness.

These are more than just emotions—they’re also patterns held in the body.

The way we sit, stand, and move through the day often tells our nervous system how to feel. When our backs round, our heads drop forward, and our breath becomes shallow, we unknowingly send signals of tension and fear to the brain. This can keep us stuck in cycles of stress and emotional heaviness.

But here’s the good news:

The breath is always with you—and it’s one of the most powerful tools you have to shift your state.

In this gentle class, you’ll be guided to reconnect with your natural breath through diaphragmatic breathing and somatic awareness. These simple, grounding practices help free the breath, release the tightness of your thoracic diaphragm, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and ease in your body.

You'll learn how to:

  • Unwind tension and soften held patterns

  • Improve posture through awareness, not effort

  • Bring calm to a busy or anxious mind

  • Move from stuckness into spaciousness

  • Feel more at home in your own skin

  • Connect you to your body and your mind

  • Improving your breathing and general ease and peace in your body-mind

Whether you're 17 or 97, feeling overwhelmed or simply curious, this class offers a safe and nurturing space to reconnect with yourself—one breath at a time.

Let your breath be your anchor. Come as you are.

Chronic stress, anxiety, emotional weight, and negative thinking often live in the body as unconscious tension. These patterns take root in our muscles and breath—especially around the jaw, shoulders, belly, and chest—and can silently shape how we feel and move. You find yourself clenching your jaw, tightening your face or throat, or holding tension in your abdomen, spine, hands, feet, or pelvis—often without even realizing it. You have tried to book a physio, massage, or therapy appointment to ease the pain, but no one is available when you need it most? Pain and discomfort is very stressful for yourself and for those who love you.

This self-help practice becomes your best therapist in the moment you need it most—empowering you to care for your pain before external support arrives. This gentle, body-based class invites you to reconnect with your body and restore your natural ability to move with freedom and ease.

You'll be gently guided through a deeply calming blend of:

  • Self-applied hands-on techniques

  • Using simple props to bring awareness and encourage your body to move in a way to release the pain and create a new way of movement that is helpful for you

  • Mindful attention and presence-based practices

  • Precise, gentle somatic movements & yoga poses

  • Supportive, grounding breathing practice

Together, these practices help release long-held tension and shift the habitual patterns that keep you feeling stuck—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is a great start for you to begin to reconnect with your natural state of ease, softness, and calm.

This class is ideal if you’re navigating:

  • Anxiety or chronic stress

  • Depression or emotional exhaustion

  • Prolonged physical tension or inner restlessness

  • Or simply a longing to feel more grounded, open, and connected

Just come as you are and we will work on it together.

Testimonials

As a newcomer, it’s completely natural to want reassurance—that what’s being offered is effective, professional, and truly worthwhile.

I completely understand and respect that. That’s why I invite you to take a moment to read some feedback from people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. You will find them below or on Google review, my Facebook review, and the Yoga Alliance Professionals review

I have done a lot of yoga and breath work in the last 12 years intermittently. Uyen’s approach is very different from what I have experienced before but I feel the experience has been transformative. She works from a place of deep knowledge and self awareness. She has a fabulous way of interacting and pushing me out of my comfort zone with techniques that I’m new to. I would highly recommend.
