Fun Fact 1​: 

Your lower belly and your anger are deeply connected.

Next time anger arises, soften the area below your navel and above your pelvis. Let your belly move naturally with your breath. Notice how releasing this tension affects the intensity of your anger.

Fun Fact 2: 

 

Your tongue is deeply connected to your toes.

Stand upright and gently tighten your tongue while turning one foot outward from the toes. Then try it again with your tongue fully relaxed. Notice how much easier and smoother the movement becomes.

Modern life keeps us trapped in constant thinking—even while eating, exercising, or during your sleep. While thinking is powerful, too much of it can lead to stress, anxiety, pain, and disconnection.

Somatic Embodiment Yoga Meditation offers a different approach. Through precise movements and present-moment awareness, you reconnect your nervous system, body, breath and inner silence —without forcing or holding poses. In short, Somatic Embodiment Yoga Meditation is a practice of moving with awareness.

This practice helps you:

  • Reduce chronic pain, aches, stiffness, and arthritis-related discomfort

  • Release tension held in the body and nervous system

  • Calm the nervous system and support stress, anxiety, depression, negativity and trauma relief

  • Move with greater ease, coordination, confidence and less pain

  • Increase vitality, comfort, and everyday wellbeing

  • Enlarge your internal sensing of yourself and develop more detailed completed image (an embodied image) of yourself as you move (not an abstract image)

  • Enhance brain learning, body awareness, and mind–body connection

  • Have a longer and more flexible spine and self

  • Effectively decompress your entire whole body
